How in the WORLD can people tap into your PRIVATE MySpace profile?

My profile is private, but my family somehow taps in %26amp; gets to read my blogs, even posted as DIARY. How do they do this?

How in the WORLD can people tap into your PRIVATE MySpace profile?

Here's the main ways they could have done it - in order from most probable to least likely:

1.

You use the same password for everything and they know it. They also know your e-mail address.

(Change your password, also change password to your e-mail)

2.

They accessed it through one of your "friends logins."

Someone on your "friends list" is letting them on their login.

(Use a myspace tracker and see if you can find out who it is - maybe you'll see someone in your families ip address - if it's different from yours, maybe you'll see a login from your own ip when you know you weren't on)

3.

Do you have your e-mail and password saved by your browser's auto-correct? They could just double click on the textbox for the e-mail and click "login"

(Change your password, also clear saved passwords - or disable them...)

4.

You saved your password on a file on your computer and they found it by accident.

(change password, delete file, never make new one)

5.

They installed a keylogger on your computer. They see everything you type .... maybe the keylogger is the new kind that even takes pictures of the screen every ten minutes...

(Change password while at school or at library - copy/paste your password to login - copy paste form internet not file on your computer- use a proxy to access myspace, it'll confuse them - turn off keylogger via ctrl+alt+delete turn off all possesses you don't need to run windos...,)

6.

They contacted myspace to be able to view your account.

(myspace says thay don't do this)

7.

They used address bar exploits to access different parts of your "private" profile

(most exploits got fixed in November when they fixed their asp scripts.)

8.

They got your e-mail and password through "phishing." instead of clicking a link you clicked an invisible picture on top of the link.... it redirected you to a fake login page (Fake Myspace: "You must be logged in to do that") and you entered your password

(They'd have to know html, css, and php)

9.

They gained access to the myspace database.

(They'd have to be a very "1337" hacker to do that ---- nothing on earth that you can do if they are..... )

If you are sure that you're setting the blogs to private or diary, either they are reading your blogs under the account of somebody that is on your friends list or someone in your family has your password.

they are smart. when you click a link in someones comment it opens to a look alike myspace log in page. and that page requestes you to sign in. once you sign in your information is sent else where. and another page opens which is the real myspace. and remember you never signed off.

Occasionally there are also little loop holes where a person can go to someone else blog, and then change the friend id to yours and view the blogs that way. Myspace fixes them pretty quick though. New ones pop up occasionally.

maybe they put spyware and keylogging software on your computer to be able to monitor all your activities and steal your passwords.

You can buy it on the net for $50 to $100 and see everything anyone does on a computer once you install it.

Just google "monitoring software"

They can't. Myspace has blocked all of the codes to get into the private profiles.
