Y'know like, they tell everyone to add them and advertise their myspace, and you go to add them and their profile is set to private and you need either their last name or email address to add them. I hate that sooooo much. N00bs on myspace these days.

I wouldn't go as far as hate it but it does bother the hell out of me because it is absolutely ridiculous and on second thought I do hate it lol. Not only do they mae those settings for adding but they'll put that you can't email them either so it's like let me get this straight, you want a lot of friends and are on trains and other things like that but you don't let anyone see your profile or add you? What's the point of making it private in ANY way if you're trying to get a lot of friends cos then are hundreds, maybe even thousands of people going to see your profile anyway and you can't possible know them all!

I do no use even myspace, I use facebook. Because each time someone adds, you even if they have profile set up to private, you can see their profile for few days before you add them.

meeeeeeeeeee. i mean mmine is private but u dont need a last name, email, or that captcha crap. its so much easier if you can just click add and keep it movinq. i quess they feel special or something..iono.

I do that but just because I have personal stuff that I want only my friends to see..jus b/c we want you to add us doesnt mean we want everyone to see our profile.. but I see where your coming from..
