Well I never use myspace but I think for those who have it should keep their profile private because I think it's kind of scary keeping their personal info in public where other people might stalk you or find out who you are.

I used to leave it public, but went through some harrassment issues and now it's under lock %26amp; key.

why would you do that.. i thought myspace was to meet people.. I mean, you dont HAVE to put anything personal up there. Just fun little things people would learn about you while sitting next to you on an airplane. I have NEVER had a serious issue with stalkers on myspace.. and i met my fiance on there. Its not like i give out my email, messanger, real address... just got give away too much info and you're fine. and you can filter your comments so you make sure that none of your friends say anything that you dont want themt o

i have myspace. I use it as a witnessing tool to encourage christians. I NEVER put up any private info or any pictures for that matter. Too paranoid about photshopping. Photoshop+angry stalker+computer+time+weird ideas= trouble.

MY myspace profile is not private...no reason why it should be....the whole point of having it is to make contacts...same with the 360 prifile I have on yahoo. As far as finding out who I am....doesn't bother me, nor does stalking...of course...i don't really ahve much personal information on either site to begin with (but that's becasue there ISN'T much information)

It's better to keep your personal info in public because then you might have an old friend lookin you up wanting to see how you are doing these days and you will get a bunch of friend requests from old friends. To me it's like having a lil fan club or it's like an online reunion. You will feel popular if you join myspace and start adding lots of friends.
