I wonna look at someone's profile, but it is set private so that you can only look at it if you are listed as that person's friend.

I know there must be some kind of way around this...

You cannot view private pages unless you're on the person's list...as you've already stated. There is a privacy option for a reason. Unless you have the person's password, you're out of luck.
